TIGERS IN CAPTIVITY - By Ken Hewitt
After many years of research I recently self-published a book entitled ‘Tigers in Captivity’ which tells the story of all 936 men who fought with the 1st Battalion Leicestershire Regiment in Malaya in WWII – my father was one of them. Many of these men became Japanese prisoners of war and many of them were sent to work on the infamous Thai-Burma Railway.  You will find more information on my book at  www.tigersincaptivity.co.uk  .
